Busy days and long nights!!!

Well this week has been hectic again but atleast I now have 6 foals micro-chipped, documented, DNA samples and pictures taken so all ready for KWPN registration!! Then two young colts castrated, several mares covered, several scanned in foal for 2012 and lots have been shod including plenty of young horses having their first pairs on. The only trouble with the busy days is it doesn't leave much time for an afternoon nap before the nightshift begins- we've had two arrivals this week a Spartacus and a Luidam- both fillies and all went well with the foalings but with another 9 due in the next two weeks sleep is looking like a luxury!!!!!!!!!
If all goes well we'll be taking several babies and some Newcomer horses to Weston Lawns on Sunday so lets hope the mares allow us a few quiet nights!
