Field House

A good day out was had at Field House Equestrian centre this weekend. We took Breaker who hasn't been to a show for a number of weeks and he jumped a nice double clear in the 1.05 but unfortunatly missed a placing as Carl had a memory lapse and took a scenic tour on his way to find a fence!!! Avola also jumped the 1.05 for a clear and 8 faults-so we took her into the Newcomers and she jumped a lovely double clear for a 4th placing. Both of these young horses are now ready to jump straight into Newcomers. Zatina jumped her second 1.15 just to have the last fence down. Then in the Foxhunter Lord Castell and Applebee both had a clear then 4 faults in the jump off and Ulrich jumped a good double clear for a 3rd placing which also qualified him for the Blue Riband(Fox) at Scope. Then to finish tha day off Carl to Domino and Ursula into the B and C-Domino was jumping a super double clear and was on for a good time until the very last fence when she had steering failure and couldn't jump from where she got herself! Ursula made up for this by an efficient double clear and a 2nd placing so she now has one of her double clears for the scope B and C.
